<span><span>ethylene glycol</span> has been consumed by alcoholics as substitute for drinking alcohol (ethanol).</span></p>

<span style="color:#1F497D">Has anyone faced an allegation of someone using antifreeze (ethylene glycol) as an intoxicant? Would it even register on an alcohol (ethanol) test? I have done some basic google research and apparently it has been known to have
been used by alcoholics because it can produce a high similar to alcohol, even though it is extremely dangerous. Thanks.</span></p>
