<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333">In recent years, drug treatment courts have proliferated rapidly in volume and variety. The Justice Programs Office (JPO) at American University, along with key
 stakeholders in the field, are undertaking a survey of drug courts to identify patterns, trends and practices among drug treatment courts across the country.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333">To that end, we are administering the
<i>Annual Drug Court Survey </i>to a representative sample of drug treatment courts across the country. Previously conducted by the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) under the name
<i>Painting the Current Picture</i>, and funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), this survey seeks to accomplish three critical goals:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
