<span style="font-size:9.0pt;color:#010101">All federally recognized tribes may, if they so choose, exercise the special domestic violence criminal jurisdiction over non-Indians, recognized by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013. However,
this expanded jurisdiction, similar to the enhanced sentencing authorized by the Tribal Law and Order Act of 2010, includes numerous due process protection requirements that can be costly for a tribe to implement. There is some federal funding available to
assist in this implementation, including funding for tribal courts, for law enforcement, and for victims services. This webinar will explore the FY 2017 Coordinate Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS), and how several of these purpose areas can be used. This
webinar is offered as part of the resources of the Inter-Tribal Working Group. <br>
