We are curious, are you planning to attend the <a href="http://www.nadcp.org/2014-training-conference">NADCP 20<sup>th</sup> Annual Training Conference</a>? We are, and we would love to see you there. We are currently planning to host the <b>Tribal Nations Forum</b>, as well four workshops, including <i>Working Effectively with Native Participants</i>, <i>Incorporating Native Culture and Tradition</i>, <i>Separate Tracks in Healing to Wellness Court</i>, <i>Indian Country Legal Implications</i>, and <i>Native Treatment and Clinical Strategies</i>. In addition to our own workshops, NADCP is offering hundreds of drug court workshops across numerous topics. <a href="http://www.nadcp.org/sites/default/files/2014/Web-Agendav1.pdf">NADCP has posted their conference agenda here</a>. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Meanwhile, <b>we are currently seeking proposals from any willing Healing to Wellness Court team that would like to share their story and experience at the Tribal Nations Forum</b> (scheduled for Wednesday, May 28<sup>th</sup> 2-5pm in Room 204A). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Presentations can be as short as 5 minutes to as long as 45 minutes. You can detail the creation and history of your court, how the court was revitalized after a hiatus, showcase one or two success stories/graduates, detail a successful strategy that you have implemented, detail challenges you have encountered, or anything in between. Feel free to be creative.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Presenters can be a single individual or a panel of team members. PowerPoints and other visuals are not required, though we will have the capabilities if you would like. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Unfortunately, we are unable to offer travel scholarships at this time.
