Description:

This webinar will provide an overview of a NEW curriculum developed by Futures Without Violence in partnership with Child Witness to Violence Project. This curriculum is for Domestic Violence Advocates and others who work with victims of domestic violence and their children and is designed to increase the knowledge and skills of advocates with a focus on supporting the child-parent relationship. This webinar will provide practical tools and strategies for working with mothers and their children.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify the connection between exposure to domestic violence and healthy child development

2. Explain how a child's healthy development and relationships with others can promote resilience

3. Articulate strategies for Advocates and DV programs to better support children and youth in their programs
