New RFP: BJA Drug Court
Discretionary Grant<https://www.bja.gov/Funding/15DrugCourtSol.pdf>

Due Date: April 16, 2015

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has released its 2015 Request for Proposal (RFP) for its Drug Court Discretionary Grant program<https://www.bja.gov/Funding/15DrugCourtSol.pdf>. This grant is available to both State Drug Courts and Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts.

This grant includes two categories

(1)  Implementation ~ $350,000 ~ 36 months
Jurisdictions that have completed a substantial amount of planning and are ready to implement an evidenced-based adult drug court.

(2)  Enhancement ~ $200,000 ~ 24 month
Jurisdictions with a fully operational adult drug court.

The Tribal Law and Policy Institute will host a webinar in early March regarding this RFP, strategies for applying, as well as other RFPs available from the SAMHSA.
