FY 2014 CTAS Purpose Area Webinars
The Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation refers to the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Tribal government-specific competitive grant programs as "Purpose Areas." Applicants may select the Purpose Area(s) that best address Tribes' concerns related to public safety, criminal and juvenile justice, and the needs of victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of violence. The Department of Justice in partnership with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention National Training and Technical Assistance Center will be hosting a series of Web meetings that will allow each DOJ office to provide detailed information regarding their respective Purpose Areas. The goals of this webinar series are to: * Educate CTAS applicants about Purpose Area requirements and allowable funding requests; * Provide an opportunity for CTAS applicants to raise Purpose Area-specific questions to subject matter experts; and * Highlight various DOJ resources that are available to assist applicants with the application process. The schedule for February 11: BJA - 12:00 - 1:00pm EST OVW - 1:30 - 2:30pm EST COPS - 3:00 - 5:00pm EST.
