Greetings,

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) have just released their joint solicitation to "Enhance, Services, Coordination, and Treatment" for adult drug courts. The deadline for applying is May 28, 2014.

The RFP is available at: https://www.bja.gov/Funding/14BJASAMHSADrugCourtSol.pdf

Please feel free to circulate this announcement to others.

This application is comparable to the BJA Adult Drug Court Grant, however it also includes funds from SAMHSA. Applicants are competing for two grant awards (a grant from SAMHSA and a separate grant from BJA) for both criminal justice and substance abuse treatment funds with one application.

Because this is a joint RFP, there is a potentially large award amount. However, there is also a 25% match requirement for the BJA portion of the award (but not for the SAMHSA portion). Similarly, you will need to complete two (2) budgets.

Best of luck,
