OVW Orientation Conference for FY 2007 Grants for Indian Tribal Governments Program

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) of the U.S. Department of Justice will be holding a mandatory Orientation Conference for OVW FY 2007 Grants for Indian Tribal Governments Program recipients. The Tribal Law and Policy Institute is coordinating this conference for OVW.

The Orientation Conference will be held at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in San Diego, California on January 9-10, 2008. Please note that both hotel and conference registration deadlines are December 7, 2007. Below are links to the Orientation Conference information:

Additional Information for NEW OVW Grantees

Please note that there is a half day Pre-Conference Program Development Workshop that will be held the afternoon of January 8, 2008 for all NEW OVW grantees. If you are a NEW OVW grantee, you will have received a different OVW Invitation Letter and Registration Form covering both the Pre-Conference Program Development Workshop on January 8, 2008 and the Orientation Conference on January 9-10, 2008. You will need to complete a different registration form covering both the Pre-Conference Program Development Workshop on January 8, 2008 and the Orientation Conference on January 9-10, 2008.

(Please note that only the programmatic representative from your tribe or organization needs to attend the January 8, 2008 half day workshop. Financial representatives do not need to attend this workshop.)
